The
Goldman Sachs Center for Environmental Markets
The Goldman Sachs Center for Environmental
Markets, managed by the Goldman Sachs Environmental Markets Group, was
established in November 2005, under Goldman Sachs’ Environmental Policy
Framework. The Center partners with corporations, non-government
organizations, and academic institutions to examine and promote market-based
solutions to environmental challenges. The Center disseminates the findings
of its research through a combination of publications, conferences and
targeted outreach to engage and educate clients, investors and policymakers.
The Harvard Business School Green Business Alumni Association
The HBS Green Business Alumni Association seeks to
explore, promote, and help Harvard Business School Alumni understand the
opportunities at the intersection of the environment and business by
stimulating discussion on the current and evolving interaction between
business and the environment; promoting business/social relationships among
alumni interested in, or working in, this field; and recognizing outstanding
entrepreneurial and managerial achievement by area business executives.
The Harvard Business
School Green Business Alumni Association will host a year-long series of
talks in NYC on 'green' topics beginning June 2009. The series will feature
speakers on various critical topics including supply chain, design, water,
consumer products, clean energy, carbon markets, energy efficiency and more.
Increased interest among our alumni and an increased focus by companies on
areas of sustainability, renewable energy,
and green products and services make these topics particularly relevant in a
time of rapid change, uncertainty, and opportunity.
